General public prosecution department made public data regarding decrease of number of unscheduled inspections of entrepreneurs. According to law enforcement authorities, this shows more balanced approach of controlling bodies towards implementation of their functions and efficiency of legislation passed in the field of protection of entrepreneurship.

“Good statistics conveys nothing, while a number of suits commenced in terms of tax crime can meanwhile increase, besides not all claims against entrepreneurs pass through public prosecution department’, - commented in his interview to «Ъ» Alexander Sotov, Head of FBK-Legal Financial Investigation Practice. The expert suggested that decline of a number of claims can be caused by decline of raiders activity, which, in its turn, was affected by economic crisis.
